Defense Mission Strategic Planner

As a Strategic Planner focused on Air-Ground Task Force (AGTF) Development, you'll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, operational, tactical, technical, (Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Joint Force, and writing skills to work on projects for our Department of Defense client and its subordinate commands and elements. You'll conduct research and provide analysis for our client's executive and senior leaders, develop, and assess campaign plans, facilitate Training Exercise Employment Plan (TEEP) development and support military Force Design 2030 actions to ensure our clients and associated Air Ground Task Forces remain ready to execute global crises and contingency. You'll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes for global commitments, including the coordination of activities with Allies and Partners.
You'll impact the work we do for the Navy-Marine Corps Team and the Indo-Pacific region and the solutions we deliver for military missions, defense planning, national security, operational and strategic planning, defense mission planning, and theater strategy.

You Have:
* 3+ years of experience at the Marine Air Ground Task force (MAGTF), Fleet, or Major Subordinate Command level
* Experience with the Marine Corps Planning Process or Military Decision-Making Process
* Experience with Naval Integration, Joint Operations, or Expeditionary Operations including Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU), Special Purpose MAGTF (SPMAGTF) and Purpose-Built Task Forces (PBTFs)
* Experience Planning and coordinating senior leader engagements
* Experience in facilitating the concept development phase of exercise design
* Knowledge of Marine Corps concepts, doctrine, and campaign plan design
* Ability to develop products, briefs, and orders at an executive level
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
* Top Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
* Experience with the Defense Readiness Reporting System Strategic, also formerly known as Defense Readiness Reporting System Marine Corps, and the underlying readiness assessment
* Experience with Indo-Pacific Command Area of Responsibility and Central Command Area of Responsibility
* Experience with the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)
* Experience with the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
* Graduate of Marine Corps Command and Staff College or other Service equivalent

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.Work Model
