Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

We're seeking a Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk who has excellent Customer Service skills, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working on a team. Our dealership makes customer service a top priority so candidates must have a strong attention to detail and maintain a professional appearance. Here's What You'll be Doing : * Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. * Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or * outgoing shipment. * Prepares documents, such as bills of lading, and shipping orders. * Corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications. * Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. * Assist in keeping parts area clean, and orderly. * Restocking of inventory. Knowledge of bus and commercial transportation vehicles. Operate forklift, after required training and certification. Assist other parts counter staff. * Parts Delivery. * Assist with inventory counts. * Participates in all training programs that are made available * Keeps current on new products and product updates * Other duties as assigned Here's what it takes to be successful: * Have a positive and friendly attitude * You are a proactive self-starter * Have the ability to multitask * Maintain a professional appearance To Apply, you must: * Be at least 18 years old * Have a valid Iowa Driver's License and clean driving record * Submit to a drug and background screening * Be able to walk and be outside frequently What You'll Love About Us * Friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.
