Seeking a detail oriented, self-directed web analyst to help achieve greater insight into our facing web properties

The mission of the Digital Experience team is to design and operate a compelling customer experience in every step of the customer journey on all digital properties. 

You will assist in setting the strategic direction for digital performance analytics, establishes and oversees analytics and data operations, tagging and participate in the analytics governance on measuring digital marketing, CRM and digital commerce effectiveness and creating actionable insights that help drive decision-making in support of the company’s digital marketing, CRM campaigns, and product management initiatives.

Manage, govern, implement, and maintain tags in Google Tag Manager, Firebase & various other tag management tools to effectively track key performance metrics and marketing activities across multiple global & regional digital assets (websites & apps)

  • Maintain documentation related to event taxonomy and data layer implementation for all tags
  • Manage GA4 migrations and support in conjunction with Universal Analytics
  • Manage creation of new UTM parameters and develop & maintain documentation of existing UTM parameters
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of the tracking and reporting capabilities of data collection tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook Ads, and other related digital advertising technologies
  • Build and maintain integrations between digital advertising partners (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) and Google Analytics to better understand the impact of digital advertising on overall digital asset performance
  • Build and maintain integrations between our online Analytics data and offline SQL systems of record.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital analytics to drive better customer experiences
  • Support continuous A/B testing & optimization; provide insights that may drive improved customer experience and conversion rate
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneous and rapidly adapt to changing requirements
  • Proactively communicate progress and roadblocks to ensure timelines are successfully met
  • Partner with internal and external development teams to test and deploy new tracking solutions while monitoring and optimizing existing integrations
  • Manage tracking compliance and adapt to changing regional requirements
  • Build & maintain data visualizations for business and IT teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a role working directly on user facing digital properties (websites & apps)
  • 3+ years’ experience in Google Tag Manager or similar (Segment, Heap, Tealium, etc.) managing the full inventory of tags for one or more properties
  • Familiarity with web development languages and debugging tools (i.e. JavaScript, Chrome DevTools, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, JSON, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data science development packages like pyhton’s Pandas and Numpy
  • Knowledge of SQL, particularly in a data warehouse environment such as Bigquery, Redshift, Snowflake, or Teradata
  • Experience leveraging Google Analytics to analyze web traffic and understand user behavior
  • Highly motivated individual with a proven ability to deliver results
  • Extreme attention to detail with a consistent and organized approach.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn a must
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Lookerstudio, Tableau, or Power BI a plus
  • Experience with GDPR requirements
