Job Title: Production Operator

Pay: $21.84 + $1500 Hire on Bonus; Weekly Pay

Shift: Days or Nights Rotating Shift (3-2-2-3) 6:45AM - 6:45PM or 6:45PM - 6:45AM

Summary:

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our team. The Production Operator will be responsible for performing quality checks on raw materials, intermediate process streams, and finished products using a variety of laboratory equipment. The Production Operator will also assist plant operators to monitor and control the various unit operations via the process control system, checking/communicating product quality and progress. Additionally, the Production Operator will perform verification and validation tasks associated with on-line instruments, forklift operations, and be responsible for the daily safety, cleaning, and hygiene conditions of the area.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform quality checks on raw materials, intermediate process streams, and finished products using a variety of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist plant operators to monitor and control the various unit operations via the process control system, checking/communicating product quality and progress.
  • Perform verification and validation tasks associated with on-line instruments.
  • Forklift operations – Unload bulk and package products.
  • Responsible for the daily safety, cleaning, and hygiene conditions of the area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to document and complete the proper documentation required for the task.
  • Understanding of ESHQ (Safety & Quality) practices and policies as they pertain to the area.
  • Ability to perform Safety Observations and can provide feedback for improvements.
  • Ability to support area Supervisor and team in Inventory management tasks.
