Job Title: Operations Technician
Shift: Rotating Days & Night Shift Available (3-2-2-3)
Pay: $23.00; Pay Weekly
Summary:
We are looking for an Operations Technician to join our team. The Operations Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the plant, including ensuring that the plant is running efficiently and that the products meet the required specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Functions:
- Change filters.
- Take product samples of lactic acid and test them with lab equipment to make sure they match the specifications.
- Climb on top of tanks for quality checks.
- Troubleshoot machinery, such as checking a pipe and finding out why it is clogged.
- Put raw material into silos (which could be 5 stories in the air).
- Monitor the control room to make sure that product is being transferred from one tank to another efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment or a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- 1-2 years of experience with manufacturing computer systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and operating machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
