Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated Appliance Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a wide range of major appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and other major kitchen and laundry appliances. The ideal candidate will have excellent sales and customer service skills, as well as experience working in sales.

Responsibilities:

• Sell major appliances to customers in a retail environment
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer complaints or concerns
• Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Calculate percentages to help customers understand financing and payment options
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Attend training sessions and meetings to learn about new products and sales techniques
• Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their purchases

Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Available to work weekends and holidays as needed  
• 2+ years of experience in the sales industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong math skills and ability to calculate percentages
• Valid driver's license
