Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time
Blazerworks, in partnership with a reputable school district in Crown Point, IN, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year. Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the education team to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Indiana.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting, is desired.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic procedures and therapeutic techniques for speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
