Position: Sanitation Tech.
Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: 2:00PM - 10:30PM
Pay Rate: +$20.00/HR (DOE)
DIRECT HIRE (Not a Temp job)
Responsibilities:
- Clean, sanitize, and pressure wash production equipment
- Deep clean equipment and machinery
- Perform sanitation and sterilization functions of all equipment and machinery in compliance with company policies
- Dust, wipe and clean moldings, handrails, light fixtures, blinds, vent covers, furniture, inside & outside of windows, and more
- Sweep, mop, sanitize and shampoo floors and stairwells
- Maintain parking lot area and loading dock by picking up discarded items, and pressure washing when needed
- Prep and paint as needed to maintain sealed and sanitary surfaces
- Clean and empty wastebaskets, shredders, and recycling bins
- Clean and organize stock areas
- Report damage and maintenance needs to supervisor
- Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms as needed
- Clean offices, cubicles, the lab, meeting rooms, and other areas
- Assist in bottling line when needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience performing industrial cleaning operations (preference for experience in a food or beverage facility)
