ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager to lead our team supporting Naval Air Systems Command Cost & Schedule Analysis Department. This position will manage a large contract providing strategic analysis, supplier management analysis, workforce enculturation initiatives, integrated program management analysis and integrated scheduling services across Naval Aviation programs. Job location: On-site position with client located in Lexington Park, MD. Client: Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Cost & Schedule Analysis Dept. Job Responsibilities include:
• Acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort.
• Directs efforts of cross-competency teams to include personnel at multiple locations.
• Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues.
• Regularly briefs senior leadership on program status.
• Manages requirements with the customer, oversees talent acquisition activities related to the contract, makes hiring decisions and manages personnel assignments.
• Leads the activities of project operations staff supporting the contract by developing procedures, planning, prioritizing, directing execution, and monitoring and reporting progress.
• Coordinates closely with company growth stakeholders to prepare for and submit a winning proposal for ongoing support to this customer.
• Mentors and develops aspiring leaders in the organization.
• Responsible for financial planning, routine forecasting, reporting performance and aligning execution to meet performance goals.
• Maintains and executes a strategic plan for spreading core skillsets from this contract into other areas of ManTech including training, support, and internship programs independent of main customer contract.
• Maintains the contract financial planning and forecasting tool and develops month-end reports for delivery to the customer. Required Qualifications:
• Must have specific or general knowledge related to Strategic Research & Analysis, Supplier Analysis, or Integrated Government Scheduling in Naval Aviation programs.
• Must have experience managing large, cross functional efforts related to providing analysis and scheduling support services.
• 10 years of experience plus a MA/MS degree in math, science, statistics, engineering, business, management, or something similar. Degree substitutions include:
o 14 years of experience plus a BA/BS degree in the above degree fields.
o 20 years of experience with a high school diploma. • Expert in MS Office Suite
• Experience presenting within group settings. Education/ Experience Requirements: • 10 years of experience plus a MA/MS degree in math, science, statistics, engineering, business, management, or something similar. Degree substitutions include:
o 14 years of experience plus a BA/BS degree in the above degree fields.
o 20 years of experience with a high school diploma. Security Requirements: * To hold a US Government Secret Security Clearance.
* Must have US Citizenship. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
