Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through product management and client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and software. Train and communicate with clients on systems application. Develop or modify core software applications to meet client specific requirements or develop or modify internal applications not offered for sale commercially and assign to programmer analyst. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked or internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Train and communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems application. Responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or related and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation: designing and developing business process automations utilizing Blue Prism; supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process; creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for all testing phases; configuring new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand; building, developing, and producing processes; leveraging Surface Automation to enable regional mode automation in thin clients; coding process automation in Mainframe; working in Agile environment; creating and maintaining ADD; and drafting and executing change control for production deployment.
