Growing, fun and fast paced distribution company near Ontario Mills mall is adding to their marketing team and looking for a Promotional Pricing Pricing Specialist. This is a full time, day shift position working M-F with great benefits!
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-4:00pm.
Salary: $21.63-$26.44 per hour ($45k-55k per yr.) depending on experience
OVERVIEW:
In this important role you will be the "Go To" person for all pricing issues in customer service. Will collaborate regularly with employees from Purchasing, Sales, Accounting, and Customer Service teams to create, track and maintain promotional pricing aspects. This will involve entering promotions into the computer system, maintaining price books, creating promotional planning forms, communicating with vendors on monthly promotional items and completing audits for monthly billing. This position reports to the Vice President of Brand Development working closely with our Marketing Department.

DUTIES:
- Will make promotional planning forms in excel for each vendor
- Review items on sale and the expected promotional spend
- Ensure margin being spent aligns with company expectations
- Manage ERP pricing in the system for the promotions
- Test sales order entry to ensure the proper pricing is being applied
- Create and maintain codes in ERP system, maintain price trackers in the system for each promotion, and update pricing books.
- Implement customer price exceptions/special pricing
REQUIREMENTS:
- Very computer savvy
- Strong skills in ERP and Excel are a must
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Detail oriented and a keen eye for troubleshooting and analyzing issues
- Highly organized and solid math skills
- Able to focus and prioritize while working in a fast paced environment with deadlines
- Strong presentations skills and able to present promotional details in meetings
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
