Overview:

Opportunity to work for a top 20 Bank, with advancement opportunities both in the department and other functional areas of CIT and First Citizens Bank. Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Western Regional Manager, the AE/Team Leader – Director’s primary purpose is to assist with driving CIT profitability through revenue generation, client retention, client service, and new business development. The role requires leading and managing a team of Account Executives. The Director manages the development and implementation of the Account Executive Department’s strategies and goals in conjunction with Commercial Services’ strategies and goals.

  • Manage a team of Account Executives who collectively service client relationships which generate $1B in annual factored sales.
  • Work closely with Commercial Services Senior management and as a member of Commercial Services’ Western Regional Management team to recommend procedures, strategies and keep management informed of developments (industry, client, customer, competitors) and events that could have an impact to CIT Commercial Services.
  • Develop and implement Western Region Account Executive Department goals and objectives with an emphasis on CIT profitability, client retention, client service, and new business development.
  • Monitor client profitability, retention, credit losses and initiatives related to expanding First Citizens Bank’s treasury management, F/X and depository services.
  • Lead or participate in meetings with the AE's and joint meetings with other departments, including but not limited to the Client Service Department, Underwriting Department, New Business Department and Operations Department.
  • Collaborate with the management team and other departments to improve operational efficiencies leading to potential cost savings for the region.
  • Monitor AE client service levels, new business leads and signings, client retention and oversee the management of client portfolios with zero losses.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to develop referral strategies and solutions to promote CIT and attract new business.
    Manage AE’s to ensure they are working to achieve client retention, profitability and sales goals.
  • Attend Industry events, client events, trade shows; meet with clients, prospects and influential industry leaders to promote CIT.
  • Meet with prospective and current clients tied to retention and new business generation.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is $150,000 to $200,000. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or relevant area of specialization; MBA preferred
  • 10 years operational experience in Commercial Finance/Banking Industry

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of prior supervisory experience, preferred
