As an Animal Care Technician (ACT) Hollister, CA, you will be responsible for the well-being of our research animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as impact the lives of patients across the world.
Role Specific Information:

Location: Hollister, CA

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $1000*

Schedule: To be determined by the hiring team. Start times fall between 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM, working 9 hour shifts Monday - Thursday and a 4 hour shift on Friday. OR Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Weekend rotation is required.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50 . Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
In this role, key responsibilities may include:

Maintaining the quality and health of our animals, including providing their food and water and ensuring their environment is clean.

Receiving, inspecting, and putting away incoming animals.

Performing health observations, administering medications, taking blood samples, and giving injections while respecting protocols.

Other responsibilities, including the restocking of supplies, may be required.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Local to the area, as this role is onsite.
