As the Nursing Supervisor, you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of our residents in our skilled nursing setting. You'll work closely with CNA's, LPN's, and other supportive staff members to ensure continuity of care between shifts. We want someone who can lead by example and promote excellence in our nursing department. You'll supervise and redirect other members of the healthcare team, as needed, to accomplish the Plan of Care which has been developed. You'll review staffing for your own shift and upcoming shifts and take action to obtain adequate staffing.
Additionally, you'll administer medications, following the five medication rights and reducing the potential for medication errors. You'll function as a leader for the CNA's and LPN's by delegating in a manner that contributes to the excellence of the nursing department and maximizes teamwork.
