Our client is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Metairie, LA
Remote - must reside in Louisiana

Shift Hours: 8am to 5pm
Contract Position
The clinical pharmacist will support the Medication Therapy Management Program (MTMP) to improve patient safety, increase wellness, improve patient outcomes, and promote healthy activities.
This job will have the following responsibilities:

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Contact MTMP members via telephone to complete an interactive person-to-person comprehensive medication review (CMR)
- Review member profiles to aid the discussion with the members
- Document the discussion with the member and create a personal medication list using a web application database
- Address member questions and perform provider outreach as necessary.
- A pharmacist license is required
- Licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of Louisiana is preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting and/or interacting with patients is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, has the ability to work independently
