Nurse Director Surgical Services - Now Hiring

A top hospital located in Northern Pennsylvania, on the border of Southern New York is looking a Nurse Director Surgical Services to lead their Perioperative Services Nursing Department! The Surgical Services Director will report to the System Wide Vice President Surgical Services and will oversee approximately 90+ FTE’s.

The Nurse Director Surgical Services will lead and have the support of a Surgery Nurse Manager, Surgery Nurse Educator, Circulating OR nurses, and OR Surgical Technicians. Additionally, there is a Surgery Coordinator for each surgical specialty that supports the surgeons of that specialty. Specialties and surgeries offered at this hospital include but are not limited to Cardiac, Neurosurgery, General, ENT, Plastic, Robotics, Ortho, and Bariatrics.  

The Nurse Manager Surgery will have previous Nursing Leadership experience and experience in acute care hospital operating room nursing. The RN Manager Surgical Services will oversee the leadership of over 20 operating and procedure rooms that performs over 20,000 annual procedures.
