Marketing and Events ManagerFULL-TIME 0516 LYNCHBURG, VAThe Marketing and Events Manager reaches new guests and strengthens existing corporate partnerships through face to face marketing. Their job is to effectively introduce Nothing Bundt Cakes to the community and strategize with clients about their gifting needs. They will engage with corporate clients to establish ongoing use of our products for their events. They will establish marketing routes, meetings & follow ups, as well as digital and social media marketing. The position requires a good working knowledge of the bakery schedules and functions, so the manager will also serve in a supervisory role in the bakery when not out of the bakery marketing.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday-Saturday 9am-6:30pm
Sunday CLOSED

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing or Marketing/Sales experience in retail or the food service industry (preferred)
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
• Outgoing, confident and friendly personality.
• Takes initiative and has multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Strong executive presence.
• Strong sales ability.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Has integrity and fits brand culture.

• Dedicated and a quick learner.
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to work some evenings, & weekends

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Create local bakery face to face marketing strategy and execute a daily marketing plan.
• Establish and manage all aspects of corporate client relationships.
• Manage wedding inquiries and orders.
• Source, manage and staff events.
• Develop process to vet, track and schedule donation requests.
• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures.
• Uphold the NBC image and brand.
