Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Near White Plains, NC Area!
Soliant is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologistto join our team in a middle school setting in North Carolina. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and goals
- Provide therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and school environment
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Conduct meetings and communicate with parents to discuss students' progress and provide recommendations for home-based support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
- Experience working with middle school students is highly desirable
- Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for adolescents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
