We are looking for a Sr. Platform Engineering Leader that will work with talented software engineering and support teams to deploy, maintain and ensure reliability of our applications in a fast paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
Deep experience in HCM in integration and configuration with key knowledge of software engineering principles.
Responsible for managing benefits and compensation modules of the HCM platform.
Collaborate with and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
Work with and lead a team of devops, software engineers and quality engineers to support and develop better methods of software install and compliance.
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
Collaborate with partner teams to explore internal software solutions that create efficiencies and allow for more resilient code as infrastructure.
Manage, grow and maintain vendor relationships to ensure there is an open line of communication for upgrades, patching and support.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 8 years of experience working within an enterprise level technology environment
At least 3 years of experience working in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
At least 1 year of experience in people leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in executing projects with HCM technologies
7+ years of people management experience
2+ years of experience in Agile practices
Workday or relevant HCM Solution Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City: $195,200 - $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform EngineeringLocation is San Francisco, California: $206,800 - $236,000 for Sr. Manager, Platform EngineeringCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
