SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for all experience levels of Test Engineers (from Junior to Subject Matter Expert) to join our team, supporting the US Navy’s Electromagnetic Warfare Program. Responsibilities: Determine optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications
Identify and recommend product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes
Combine customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints
Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems
Coordinate integrated testing activities
Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program
Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.
Required Skills & Experience: Experience in Testing and Evaluation (T&E) or Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V)
Experience testing with a Navy combat system sensors
Experience in preparing and executing comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for Navy systems
Ability to be test or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience performing root cause analysis on EW sensors
Experience in defining and tracking test metrics
Additional Requirements: Education: BA/BS in a STEM Discipline Minimum Clearance: Top Secret/SCI Location: Sterling, Virginia (On-site) **This position is funded and expected to start early July 2023
