Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Near Byesville, OH Duration: August 2023 - May 2024 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Number of Buildings: Up to 3 buildings in close proximity Caseload: Approximately 55 students CFY Supervision: Available Interview Availability: June 5th (afternoon), June 6th, June 7th, or June 19th

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team nearByesville, OH, for the period of August 2023 to May 2024. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position may require working across multiple buildings located in close proximity.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting speech and language goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, if applicable.
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other relevant meetings to contribute to students' educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio.
  • Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of assessments, intervention strategies, and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
