Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team nearByesville, OH, for the period of August 2023 to May 2024. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position may require working across multiple buildings located in close proximity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, if applicable.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other relevant meetings to contribute to students' educational plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio.
- Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of assessments, intervention strategies, and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
