Saturday and Sunday, 7 am - 11 pm

Plans, coordinates, supervises and carries out the activities of the MRI area. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.

Education

Technical or Vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

*Healthcare Provider (CPR)
*Radiologic Technologist

Qualifications

*Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiological Technology Program

*Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in the MRI field

*Prefer MRI Registry.

*Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) by the American

*Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Requirements:
Area of Responsibilities
*Demonstrates competency in patient care according to the age of the patient and population served.
*Performs MRI procedures according to department protocol.
*Responsible for assuring routine maintenance on equipment is performed according to department protocol.
*Responsible for individual continuing education to maintain registry.
*Responsible for QA/QC programs.
*Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development.
*Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient's needs.
*Demonstrates understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients (age and diagnosis).
*Performs other related duties as assigned.
*Responsible for CQI related duties.
*Responsible for maintenance of patient records.
*Responsible for maintenance of proper patient records.
*Uses the Radiology Information System to complete work.

Compliance Statement
Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
