Description

PMI Overview :

Quantic PMI defines and manufactures mission-critical electronic components for the aerospace and defense industry, as well as commercial and industrial markets. Principal product lines include RF/microwave components.

Position Overview : 

On-site Manufacturing / RF Engineer to support new and existent product development. Deep understanding and knowledge in MIL-STD-883 / J-STD / IPC-610 / RF & Microwave knowledge / automation to bridge product reliability and new product development. Participate in all aspects of product design, from concept to system-, circuit-, and PC board-level design, through successful volume production.  This candidate will be required to maintain and follow all company documentation procedures as well as design and document mechanical, PCB and RF layouts.  Some digital programming will be required.

Requirements

Required: 

·  B.S. in electrical engineering or physics. Self-Starter with the ability to work effectively in small teams. 
·  Good communication and presentation skills.  
·  Strong knowledge of RF/analog circuit and digital / FPGA design is required.  
·  Must have 6+ years of experience in designing products shown at www.pmi-rf.com   
·  Working knowledge with board layout tools such as PROTEL or ALTUIM.  
·  Familiarity with circuit and electromagnetic simulation design software such as MICROWAVE OFFICE, ADS, or ANSOFT.  
·  Must be fully experienced in AUTOCAD version 2005 or higher.  
·  Basic knowledge of design techniques, materials selection, drawings, tolerancing and interest in the design, manufacture and test of mechanical systems.  
·  Candidate must show a high level of initiative and problem-solving skill. 
·  Experience with computer programs such as MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
