HOSE CREW – Age 16+ - Part-time

The Utility Department is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional customer service, following proper uniform standards, maintaining cleanliness of your work environment, and gaining knowledge of specific job duties.

Positions are currently available for employees age 16 or older who are available to work throughout the fall for Hersheypark Halloween and Christmas Candylane (September, October, November and December).

Job Functions:

• Use a high pressure fire hose to clean the hard surfaces of various areas throughout the Entertainment Complex
• Push water puddles in the Park

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age or older on the date of applying
• Must be able to speak and read the English language
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shifts

Additional Qualifications:

• Physical ability to control a high pressure fire hose for long periods of time
• Physical ability to pull a high pressure fire hose
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Shifts include 6:15am – 12:00pm/noon during the Park season. 16 – 17 year olds will be scheduled according to applicable Child Labor Laws.
• Must be able to work continuously throughout the Fall & Winter operating seasons including Hersheypark in the DarkSM and Christmas Candylane
• Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Work is almost exclusively outdoors.
• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting up to 45 lbs, and walking
