Position Information
Under the general supervision of the Student Basic Needs Director, the Basic Needs R'Pantry Coordinator has the functional responsibility for the direct oversight of the R'Pantry's daily operations. This includes food distributions, facilitating campus and community food drives and related programming, coordinating outreach to special populations, implementing and maintaining evaluation metrics for R'Pantry usage and needs. The Basic Needs R'Pantry Coordinator recruits, hires, trains, and establishes procedures for student employees and volunteers, and provides supervision to graduate and undergraduate student staff; develops and maintains food security-related resource materials for students; develops and implements promotional and marketing materials for food pantry and other food security resources on campus; assesses and evaluates services, provides recommendations for improvement, researches new initiatives, and facilitates presentations and workshops for both campus and community partners.
The salary range for the R' Pantry Coordinator is $54,200 - $93,200 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $60,000 annually. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is ten weeks after their first date of employment.
