Systems Test Engineer with Security Clearance - Full-time / Part-time

Amentum is seeking a Systems Test Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Virginia to assist with systems and technical engineering services. Systems Engineers will work as an integral part of the engineering design teams, as well as with end-users, management, and sponsors, throughout the design, integration and iterative test of prototypes and tactical systems. Systems Test Engineer responsibilities include: * Review requirements to ensure that tests will satisfy specifications. * Interact with engineering to analyze test validity. * Perform system tests. * Collect test data and perform failure analyses. * Provide documentation and regular progress reports for test cases. * Perform new tests when field data dictates need, or new requirements arise. * Participate in project reviews. * Work with team members to evaluate hardware and software system performance. * Build test plans and procedures with test cases based on system parameters and use cases. * Generate and execute test cases to evaluate system performance, document results and communicate defects to the development team for system improvement. * Developed test strategies, including Developmental Test (DT) or Operational Tests (OT) in both laboratory and field environments. Minimum Qualifications and experience: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or equivalent experience in Systems Integration & Test * Three (3) years of experience testing integrated hardware/software systems in both lab and deployed environments * Experience developing testing strategies and executing system operations or test * Knowledge of diagnostic equipment * Ability to analyze, process, and format test data * Ability to lift 25lbs * Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance.
