Job Description
Liberty Awnings and Shades is looking to hire an assistant to our seamstress in a sewroom.
· No sewing is required; assistant in sew room.
· Must be able to pass physical lift test & drug test
· Clean driving record
· Lift rolls of fabric
· Running computerized cutting machine *Company will provide training for
· Operating an RF Welder *Company will provide training for
· Manually measure fabric
· Assisting seamstress with various duties relating to sewroom/assembly
Hours: M-F, 5:30 - 2:00pm
Starting Pay: $18, with a 90 day review.
Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance after 60 days. PTO, Sick Pay and Holiday Pay
Physical Requirement - Must have attention to detail - Must have good corrected vision. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure and perform the operations with common and decimal fractions and using common measuring tools.
