Position Details:
- Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Responsibilities: As an SLP in our district, you will play a vital role in identifying and treating communication disorders among our diverse student population. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor students' progress
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing input on goals and accommodations
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP in Florida
- Preferred Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for experienced candidates
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
