Overview DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Ephrata, Washington. The System Administrator will support the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition (SCADA) program which manages water in the West. Duties & Responsibilities * Develop and update technical documents such as system security plans, policies, plans and procedures. * Provide operational functionality support. * Ensure that the appropriate operational cybersecurity posture is maintained. * Develop, update and maintain the System Security Plan (SSP) for assigned systems. * Develop standard operating procedures in accordance with security control requirements. * Perform continuous monitoring of security controls to ensure that they continue to be implemented correctly, operating as intended and producing the desired outcome with respect for meeting the cybersecurity requirements for assigned IT systems. * Conduct self-assessments of security controls, identify weaknesses and track remediation activities in Plan of Action and Milestones(POA&M). * Conduct technical vulnerability assessments and prioritize and track remediation efforts. * Support system administrator/Supervisory Control Data Acquisition * Under general supervision, responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining operating system. * Responsible for the administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of regional area servers. * Work directly with IT and production staff to insure seamless data transfer. * Conceptualizes, details and implements all phases of SCADA system upgrades. * Develops and implements standard procedures and naming conventions. * Help to develop and provide SCADA training for local automation support. * Provide support for more advanced solutions (for example, scripted solutions). Qualifications * Ability to obtain a Public Trust. * Bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience (additional experience may substitue education). * Minimum of 3 years as a Windows and Linux Systems Administrator. * Minimum of 3 years experience scripting knowledge of BASH and PowerShell. * At least 2-4 years of practical experience working with Linux and Windows Server and Active Directory. * Understanding of basic security principles and their application to an Active Directory Environment. * Familiarity with scripting languages BASH and PowerShell. * Windows operating system, SQL and MySQL server databases, and Ethernet * Working knowledge of scripting languages such as VBScript, Python, BASH and Java * Experience creating FISMA-related activities to include system security plans, contingency plans, incident response plans, configuration management plans, security control requirements and assessments, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and training requirements. * Experience in applying NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management principles, interpreting requirements and developing implementation guidance. * Experience with performing information system continuous monitoring of security controls to ensure that they continue to be implemented correctly, operating as intended and producing the desired outcome with respect for meeting the security requirements. * Experience gathering and organizing information for the preparation of system documentation to include system plans and standard operating procedures into clear, readable documentation for technical and non-technical personnel. * Knowledge of ICS to include SCADA.
