RETAIL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be trusted to pick orders for the Retail shops inside the park and to help deliver those orders. You will assist with putting the product away after it is received into the warehouse, and will play a vital role in helping with organizational tasks as well. Attention to detail is very important, and the ability to work in a team and complete tasks quickly and accurately is a must. This position is not guest-facing, but you will be expected to work closely with other team members.

Job Functions:

Retail Warehouse employees are required to do one or all of the following tasks:

• Reading order lists and picking orders with accuracy
• Neatly shelving and organizing products within the warehouse
• Ticketing products
• Assisting with counting in new products, taking inventory
• Delivering merchandise to stores within Hersheypark, or our other properties
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age or older on the date of applying

• Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees and be able to work as part of a team
• Must have reliable, steady transportation to and from work
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, and have excellent attention to detail
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
• Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work at least 24 hours per week; shift schedule includes 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM
• Must be able to work flexible hours including days, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work in combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
• Physical requirements include standing (90-100% of the shift), sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs., finger dexterity and communicating.
• Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to assist in stocking shelves with merchandise
• Must be able to safely load merchandise weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. in and out of a company vehicle
