Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Manufacturing/QC technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Jacksonville FL
SUMMARY:- Performs a specialized set of tasks as part of a team to include, but not limited to: visual inspection, operation of the lens blister packaging machine, lens loading, packaging audit process, operate two autoclaves for sterilization according to protocols and GMP/ GLP, operate two Package Integrity Testing devices.
- In addition, operator must be trained in all the following; visual inspection, operation of the packaging machine, operation of the sterilizers, conducting package integrity testing, perform visual inspection of the primary package.
- Assist Process Engineering Technicians, Protocol Originators and Project Team members in executing investigational and clinical protocols, and the gathering of data for experiments in making non-clinical and clinical lenses.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure adherence to GMP, FDA and ISO regulations.
- Assist technical services in executing routine tasks as requested. Adheres to safety and environmental policies and procedures and supports department safety and environmental
- Responsible for of the following tasks: Visual Inspection / BSM Packaging machine / Sterilization of contact lenses.
- Maintains lot integrity and control to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO and company requirements.
- Operates and monitors sterilization units, completing appropriate documentation and responding to equipment alarms.
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Preferred Associate Degree.
- Minimum experience: 2+ years working experience in a regulated environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational and application of principles, concepts and practices of protocol execution.
- Volume or unit measure of job duties: Package 1,800 Lenses per 10 hr shift.
- Lens load 2,400 lens from trays and/or cups into primary package per 10 hr shift.
