Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - 23/24 School Assignment

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract assignment for our client near Abita Springs, LA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse student population and make a meaningful impact on their munication skills and overall academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive assessments to identify and diagnose munication disorders in students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with various munication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support students' munication development in the classroom.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary.
• municate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on therapy progress and remendations for home practice.
• Attend meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license as an SLP.
• Certification of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for various munication disorders.
• Excellent munication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Contract Details:

• This is a W2 contract position for the duration of the school assignment.
