Schools - Occupational Therapist

ProCare Therapy is looking for an Occupational Therapist in Buckley, WA fora vibrant and inclusive educational institution dedicated to fostering the holistic development of theirstudents. We believe that every student has the potential to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

As the School Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing students' participation in all aspects of school life. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Full-time, 35 hours a week
• 10/2023 - 06/2024
• 33 student caseload, extra 10 to consult for
• Conducting assessments to identify students' individual needs and developing personalized occupational therapy plans.
• Providing direct one-on-one or group therapy sessions to students to improve their fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and classroom activities.
• Monitoring students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed, and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure or certification from Washingtonas an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques, sensory integration, and developmental milestones.
