We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Business Development to join our team in the construction industry. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and overseeing the development and execution of strategic plans to drive growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tilt-up construction, warehouses, and industrial tilt-up projects, and a proven track record of developing successful business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry, with a focus on tilt-up construction, warehouses, and industrial tilt-up projects.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Create relationships with various Developers throughout the Tri-county areas.
  • Work closely with other members of the senior management team to align business development strategies with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and adjust business development strategies as necessary.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and serve as a spokesperson when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a business development role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with tilt-up construction, warehouses, and industrial tilt-up projects.
  • Strong understanding of ground-up project development.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop successful business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work closely with other members of the senior management team.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
