We are currently seeking a highly energetic, organized individual to provide administrative assistance to the Director of Sales as well as finalization of small meetings and events.  This will involve communication with the clients to determine event details and preparation of contracts to communicate the group’s needs to the hotel’s operation departments.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Administrative support to DOS
  • Contract and proposal preparation
  • Maintenance of hotel sales and database
  • Finalization and detailing of small meetings and events
  • Preparation of contracts, room lists, sales leads and reservations
  • Correspondence to clients and guests
  • Assistance with phone coverage for the sales team
  • Maintenance of group lead sources and assignment of leads to sales managers
  • Assistance with any special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales or General Manager
  • Operational requirements- MOD shifts, Front Desk shifts (including weekends and holidays)
  • Handling the Social Media Accounts 
Pay-$16/hr plus Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Hotel Employee Room Rate Program
  • Related work experience in hotel sales and catering or customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Sales Pro and/or Delphi is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organized team player with the ability to work within tight and changing deadlines
