A Day in the Role:
- Medical Scribes will be working hand-in-hand with MD, NP, and PA providers.
- They will be providing an effortless patient experience, a welcoming culture of care and seamless integration with market-leading health systems and our communities.
- Transcribe medical charting for Providers.
- Assist in fundamental clinical care including documentation of Point of Care (POC) testing, intake of vitals and other procedures that the Provider dictates to them.
- Assist in coordinating patient triage and overall workflow documentation in the EMR.
- Maintain medical records, lab results, imaging reports in accurate manner in EHR.
- Manage faxing and referral process for all.
- Must be comfortable working and floating between 3 different locations within the NoVa area.
- Must have previous Medical Assistant/Clinical or Medical Scribe experience.
Schedule: Must be available to work Monday - Friday and every other weekend. Hours: will need to be available to work between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Clinical Healthcare Experience: medical scribe, medical assistant, EMT, etc.
