Phone Operator

Robert Half is collaborating with a local non-profit agency to seek a skilled Operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, handling incoming calls from the public and properly routing them to the appropriate departments. As a representative of the organization, the successful candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of all agency services in order to effectively address basic program inquiries. Additionally, the ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy in their role is essential to excel in the Operator position. Familiarity with community services and bilingual proficiency are considered advantageous. A minimum of one year of experience in operating telephone systems and interacting with the public is required, preferably within a non-profit organization. Reliable transportation is necessary. This is initially a temporary staffing role, but there is potential for permanent employment depending on work performance.
