Robert Half is collaborating with a local company to offer a Customer Service Account Manager position. This opportunity is initially a contract role with the potential for permanent employment, as the organization is experiencing growth.
As a Customer Service Account Manager, your responsibilities will include assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Service Division. This will involve coordinating and scheduling activities for skilled trades, custodial, and grounds workers who are responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, buildings, and other structures. The role of the Customer Service Account Manager is to ensure effective coordination, monitoring, and improvement of field service activities for our customers. This includes providing support and guidance to field service personnel and customers, ensuring that services meet customer requirements from both proactive and reactive perspectives.
We are seeking an individual who is a quick learner and interested in a long-term career. The main responsibilities of this position include managing work orders, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, and delivering exceptional customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft TEAMS, Outlook, Excel, and Word is necessary. Additionally, the ability to accurately document service calls in multiple software systems, while maintaining proper grammar and punctuation, is essential. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a go-getter attitude, and demonstrate a high level of performance and problem-solving skills.

- Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods- General familiarity with account management

- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office
- Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external
- Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
- 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
