School Psychologist in St George SC - 23/24 School Year - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our teamin St George, SC.As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional development of our students. This is a full-time position within our school district.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough behavior evaluations for students referred by teachers and administrators.
• Utilize a variety of assessment tools and techniques to assess student behavior and develop comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to gather relevant information for evaluations.
• Analyze assessment data to identify behavioral patterns, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations for intervention strategies and behavioral support plans.
• Consult with teachers and parents to implement effective behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support student success.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Current licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of South Carolina.
• Proven experience in behavior evaluation and assessment.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
