School Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opening

Kentucky is known for its rolling hills, horse racing, and southern hospitality,making it an amazing destination for traveling SLPs. Soliant is seeking highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) near Winchester, KYwho are passionate about travel and helping children improve their communication and swallowing abilities. As a contract SLP, you will work with school aged children, providing speech therapy servicesina school setting.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their communication and swallowing goals
- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in a school setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure the best possible patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, progress reports, and treatment plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest research and trends in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including pediatric and adult populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel to different locations across the country
