Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location:Leonardtown, MD and Surrounding Areas

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and developmental needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on evaluation results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement strategies that support students' progress.
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance students' participation in classroom activities.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric conditions and treatment approaches.
