Procare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing and services, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. Job Description:

  • Abbeville, SC
  • 2023-2024 School Year
  • Caseload:9 students and 2 para-professionals
  • Full-time Position:37.5 per week
  • $35-$40

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assess students' abilities, strengths, and challenges to create tailored instructional plans.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects and life skills development.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • South Carolina Teacher Certification is required- Multi-categorical is preferred
