MVHS is offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new and experienced Medical Technologists!

Pay Range $28.00 - $50.00 Hourly 

Under the direction of the Laboratory Medical Director and Director of Laboratory Services, the Medical Technologist performs clinical testing in at least two of the following areas:  blood bank, microbiology, serology, chemistry, hematology, or urinalysis. The Medical Technologist obtains and receives specimens, understands method principles, performs QC procedures, interprets results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. The Medical Technologist works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science with approved medical clinical training
• Minimum 1 year experience laboratory work (may be part of clinical training program)

REQUIRED:

• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
