Educational Sales Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Educational Sales Assistant position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site throughout the state of West Virginia, and is a long-term PART-TIME position, with weekly hours ranging from 10-30 per week.

Summary

• Answers product inquiry phone calls from customers/makes sales calls to district level personnel and /or schools within the district per sales representative request and report results to sales representative.
• Compiles marketing packets (including samples and/or print materials) and either ships or delivers them directly.
• Attends state and/or local exhibits with heavy customer traffic and works local school district exhibits if sales representative has conflict and can't attend.
• Participate in calling and/or email campaigns and also with mailings.

Qualified candidates would have the following:

• Computer skills necessary in Windows 2000, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to speak and present effectively in public
• Ability to establish rapport and covey a positive and professional image to teachers and administrators
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move materials for in-service and presentations
• Product generalist
• Some travel involved

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Education or related field required.
• Teaching experience
• Preferred: Sales experience
