Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working in an educational setting, preferably within a K-12 school system.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote positive mental health and overall student well-being.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of school psychology to inform best practices.
• Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents, providing guidance on effective classroom strategies and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, develop intervention plans, and make appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with community agencies and mental health professionals to coordinate services and support for students and families.
