Job Description
Travel Psych RN needed in Hazard, KY for a 13-week assignment. RN’s will p care for medically stable patients requiring psychiatric care.
Responsibilities:
· leads/participates in group therapy sessions 2-3 times/week,
· rounds on all patients every 2 hours (minimum).
Medical care on the Kentucky River unit is limited to oxygen therapy and wound care.
Unit Details:
· Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Dynamaps, glucometers, Pyxis, paper documentation (Meditech coming Feb 2019)
· Required skills and minimum years of experience. Minimum of 1 year psych nursing, knowledgeable in the use of restraints/seclusion, able to lead/participate in group therapy sessions
