Flexible Sitter Position - Full-time / Part-time

Jovie of Greater Austin is currently accepting applications from experienced, responsible, outgoing individuals for flexible babysitting positions. Sitter positions may be last-minute, date nights, church nursery shifts, weekend coverage or periodic care dates, depending on your availability. Some of our sitters enjoy working full-time. Some of our sitters enjoy working part time. All of our sitters enjoy the most flexible schedule and choose all of their days off and choose all of the hours that they are available on their days on.

As a sitter with our agency, you will build your resume with important skills that are essential for tomorrow’s workplace. Positions are rewarding and fun!

Requirements:

• The higher range in compensation is for candidates that have full-time availability M-F from 7am-7pm. Work hours will vary, but you need to be available during these hours. This is our "Full-Time Flex" position. During the available hours you will need to commit to 30 plus hours of work to be full-time and qualify for higher end of comp range.
• Non-smoker, non-nicotine, non-vape user
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Must be legal to work in US
• Must have clear background check results and willing to take a drug screening test
• Must have reliable car, driver license and auto insurance in your name or as a listed driver
• Must have childcare experience and childcare references (Including childcare center, babysitting families, church care, etc. Not including relatives)

Our agency is looking for part and full-time experienced, exceptional babysitters to care for our various client families all areas of Greater Austin. We are considering part-time caregivers too. (Brag Alert): We have been an outstanding nanny/sitter agency in Austin for 28 years!! We love our caregivers as much as our client families! Most of our clients have "as-needed" care needs, fewer of our clients prefer a regular schedule. We have clients all over town, daytime, evenings and weekends. (Our office is in southwest Austin, but our assignments/clients are all over greater Austin) We also have church nursery shifts Wednesdays Thursdays Sunday am and Sunday pm

This makes a great primary job or second job. Our caregiver team manages their own schedules by putting their availability into our system. You tell us when you CAN work rather than us telling you when you HAVE to work! Extra consideration given to applicants that have at least three weekdays with open availability (daytime hours) (We are considering a few part-time applicants with other availability). You will care for different families but, of course, most of them will request you to come back! You must have a minimum 2 years of childcare experience (nanny, babysitting, childcare center, church nursery, teacher, etc.) that is verifiable through childcare reference
