Commercial (Low Slope Roofing) Outside Sales Representative

As a commercial outside sales representative, you will build relationships with large customers serving the commercial roofing and building products market and contribute to our growing market share.  As a sales leader, you will anticipate contractors’ needs, craft custom solutions, and exceed our customers’ expectations. Our commercial outside sales representatives work closely with our commercial customers to see long-term projects to fruition. As a sales professional, the outside sales representative helps customers BUILD more.

What you will do: 

  • Sell a full array of products from the industry's leading manufacturers of exterior building envelope systems. 
  • Drive profitable growth and achieve sales and margin budgets. 
  • Prospect and identify new opportunities and customers. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customer base and vendors. 
  • Partner with branch operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.  
  • Use customer relationship tools like Salesforce.  
  • Continue to develop sales skills and expand product knowledge. 
  • Travel extensively within assigned market. 

What you will bring: 

  • Proven track record in a sales or related leadership role 
  • Familiarity with construction, building materials or wholesale distribution a plus. 
  • Knowledge of low slope roofing a plus 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Bilingual proficiency a plus 
  • A desire to find creative solutions in a dynamic, changing environment. 
  • Mechanical/technical interest 
  • Drive to build and maintain positive relationships. 
  • Strong analytical ability, organization skills, and attention to detail 
  • High comfort level with technology 
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
