Construction Project Manager – INDIANAPOLIS BASED HOTEL DEVELOPER   
 
General Hotels Corporation is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager for the construction arm of the company, Hospitality Project Services, LLC., to manage the construction of hotels as well as renovation to our existing hotels. Responsibilities would include planning and coordination with Brand design teams, hiring and scheduling of sub-contractors, solving day to day issues, estimating, budgeting and the timeliness of project completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Estimate construction projects with assistance from procurement, design and architecture.
  • Responsible for safety standards throughout the project
  • Determine needed resources, secure sub-contractors, project superintendent
  • Prepare and maintain construction schedule
  • Coordinate construction activities with project superintendent
  • Process all subcontractor and supplier invoices
  • Supervise weekly sub-contractor meetings
  • Regularly visit the project and supervise project superintendent
  • Resolve day to day issues that may arise
  • Must be able to work with a variety of people to include architect, procurement, FF&E installer, hotel opening team, IT, sub-contractors, and vendors
  • Supervision of all products and supplies delivered to the site.
  • Coordinate storage containers for supplies on site or off-site rental space,
  • Secure trash containers
  • Provide leadership and direction to all project employees
 
Requirements:
  • Construction Experience – 5 years
  • Project Management Experience – 5 years
  • Multifamily experience could be a plus for this position.
  • Travel within the Mid- West, and Florida would be required.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office and other construction software.
