Construction Project Engineer – INDIANAPOLIS BASED HOTEL DEVELOPER   
 
General Hotels Corporation is looking for an experienced Construction Project Engineer for the construction arm of the company, Hospitality Project Services, LLC., to manage the construction of hotels as well as renovation to our existing hotels. Responsibilities would include assisting PM and DOC with planning the coordination with Brand design teams, hiring and scheduling of sub-contractors, solving day to day issues, estimating, budgeting and the timeliness of project completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with estimating construction projects with assistance from procurement, design, and architecture.
  • Determine needed resources, secure sub-contractors.
  • Work with a team to maintain construction schedule.
  • Coordinate construction activities with project manager and project superintendent
  • Assist with weekly sub-contractor meetings on assigned projects.
  • Occasional visit the project and assist project superintendent.
  • Must be able to work with a variety of people to include architect, procurement, FF&E installer, hotel opening team, IT, sub-contractors, and vendors.
  • Assist with products and supplies delivered to the site.
 
Requirements:
  • Construction Experience – 3 years
  • Multifamily experience could be a plus for this position.
  • Travel within the Mid- West, and Florida could be an option.
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office and other construction software.
